Who can participate in Crew at PFCC?
Rising ninth graders, and High School students are eligible to participate in club sport as part of PFCC. Only active High School students are eligible to participate for Potomac Falls High School (PFHS).
Do I need previous experience to participate?
PFCC welcomes all experience levels to the sport of crew. No previous experience is necessary to participate in the club level. High School level will have tryouts.
How much does it cost?
Our annual dues will be $1250 for our inaugural spring 2025. Dues help in equipment and dues for regattas, and may vary based on annual budget and number of participants. These dues are for the high school level competitions. Fall club rowing details, along with winter training details for 2025 will be announced.
Where do practices and regattas take place?
All practices will take place at Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling Virginia and select indoor facilities during winter. Regatta locations vary between local and regional competitions. See calendar of events for further details on regattas.
When does Crew season start?
Generally we have two seasons in crew. PFCC club operates during fall season as a club sport, with summer programs and winter conditioning. PFCC will represent Potomac Falls High School (PFHS) during the spring season to compete at the high school level.
